The California Crush Report is located within the Compliance section of your Blended account.
To access it:
Navigate to Compliance
Select the Create button at the top of the screen and select CA Crush Report
Blended will generate a download and printable PDF based on the weight tags within Blended for a given vintage.
Fields Not Completed by Blended
At this time, Blended does not populate the following portions of the report:
Question 2: Grapes crushed for you by other processors
Costs and Taxes: The CA Crush report is not currently integrated with the Costs section of Blended. Fruit costs and any applicable taxes must be completed manually.
Section 7: Section 7 will be partly filled out. Values will populate for rows B, C, and D. Users will manually add in any values for rows E and F before summing to get row A.
Generating the Report
After starting a new report, you will see a screen with all the weigh tags from the designated vintage. Blended will automatically filter out non-grape weigh tags and any that aren't listed as from California.
Missing Weigh Tags: If you feel weigh tags are missing from the report generation, double-check those individual Lot Sources. Within the State field, it must say California or a variant to populate.
Use the checkboxes to select one or more of the weigh tags and click Edit Details. Clicking the first checkbox will select all and make data entry much faster.
For each weigh tag, designate the following:
The receipt was crushed for you or for a client
The fruit was grown, purchased from a grower, or from a reseller
If crushed for a client, the client's name
The crop district the fruit is from
Missing Data: We strongly recommend that you complete all necessary data before generating the report. While Blended will allow you to create a report without doing so, accuracy can be compromised.
Excluding Weigh Tags
To exclude a weigh tag from the report, use the checkbox to select it, and then click the Exclude Selected button.
Excluded weigh tags will appear at the bottom of the table, with the option to add them back to the report if desired.
CA Crush Report
When you are done completing the input section, click Save. This will generate a PDF report that can be downloaded or printed.
This report will be saved as generated within the CA Crush report section of Blended.
Tips That Make Reporting Easier
The data from this report is tied directly to the intake of Lot Sources. Intake data is either populated manually or sourced from the selected Vineyard/Block.
Tip 1: Make sure all Vineyard data is up to date with State and District fields
This will ensure that weigh tags created from these Vineyards will automatically populate these fields. To update, navigate to the Vineyard section of Blended and select the Vineyard you wish to edit.
Tip 2: Enter a harvest brix on the weigh tag
The brix field on the CA Crush report pulls from the harvest brix on the intake form. Filling this in will allow Blended to fill out the Brix field on the crush report.
Tip 3: Edit in Archive Mode if you are missing data
Lot Sources can be edited while archived. Navigate to Production, then Processing. Click on the archive button of your Intake table (looks like a filing box). Edit any Lot Source directly - like add a harvest brix - without the need to unarchive first.
