There are three different screens within Blended that provide varying levels of analysis.
Cost by Month
Navigate to the Cost section and then click on the Cost by Month tab.
Cost by month is a tabular view of your costs aggregated by category and the month they are accrued. Users have the ability to select a date range, specify columns, download, and print.
Cost by Lot
To get to Cost by Lot, navigate to the Cost section and choose the Cost by Lot tab.
Cost by Lot displays Lot name as rows and Cost Categories as columns. It is designed to allow users to compare categories of Lots against each other to better understand how costs are evolving. To make the most out of this report, leverage the filter section to narrow down the Lot list.
The Date picker will display data as of the date chosen. It defaults to today. Choosing a historical date will display the cost values as of that date. Use this feature to help generate inventory value reports for the month-end financial records.
A few interesting filters:
Archive Status: This filter will display only Lots with the chosen Archived Status (Transferred in Bond, Bottled, Bulk Wine).
Variety: This filter will display Lots that have the chosen variety present in the blend.
Custom Tags: Any custom tags that are being used within Production will display in this list. Use tags like Allocation Program or Client to give yourself categories to quickly filter the Lot list.
Lot Details Cost Tab
To access this screen, navigate to the Production section, click on the specific Lot Name, and then select the Cost Tab.
This screen is designed to give cost level details for a particular Lot. The pie chart displays costs aggregated at the category level. Custom categories will populate into the pie chart.
The table below shows each individual line item that composes the pie chart above. Columns in the table are sortable and filterable. The standard display, print, and download options are also available.
Description and Amount Used: These columns indicate the total quantity of an input and the amount allocated to this specific Lot. In the example below, the first line item is a Fruit Weigh Tag. The total amount received was 12.86 t, but only 12.35 t (and that proportion of the cost) are currently in this Lot.
Edit: Clicking this button will bring up the cost detail for that particular line item and allow you to make edits from this screen.
