Lots in Production can be archived outside of the typical workflows. Each reason code is linked to a specific line within the TTB report. These codes are used for more unconventional ways that wine leaves the winery's bonded premises.
Archive codes within this section are
Bottled
Destroyed
Other
Removed for Distilling
Removed for Export
Removed for Vinegar
Tax Paid
Transfer in Bond
Using Archive
To use the archive, use the checkbox to select the Lot, and then under the Other dropdown, choose Archive.
If the Lot is already archived, doing this will unarchive the Lot
The archive modal will have a date field, a reason code and a notes box. See the image below. If the Lot has multiple archive codes within its history, it will use the code that archived it within the reporting period. For example, if in September, Lot A was archived (destroyed), then unarchived, then archived (Bottled). The volume that was archived (Bottled) will be what gets reported.
Bottled
This archive code will mark the Lot's volume as Bottled. Doing so will not allow you to attach any packaging, nor will it create an item within Case Goods.
Other
This archive code will mark the Lot's volume as an operational loss.
Destroyed
This archive code will mark the Lot's volume as destroyed. It will appear in the write-in entry portion of Section A.
Removed for Distilling
This archive code will mark the Lot's volume as removed for distilling. Volume will appear in Section A line 16.
Removed for Export
This archive code will mark the Lot's volume as removed for export. Volume will appear in Section A line 26.
Removed for Vinegar
This archive code will mark the Lot's volume as removed for vinegar production. Volume will appear in Section A line 17.
Tax Paid
This archive code will mark the Lot's volume as removed Tax Paid. Volume will appear in Section A line 14.
Transfer in Bond
This archive code will mark the Lot's volume as removed via transfer in bond. Using the archive path will NOT generate a BOL. We recommend using the Dispatch Out workflow instead.
Volume will appear in Section A line 15.
