General Tips
Blended records your winery's activity as a continuous, chronological stream of events. Every operation, addition, measurement, and movement is timestamped and woven into a single timeline for each Lot. Because so much of what Blended calculates — volumes, chemistry trends, cumulative additions, aging duration, and compliance reporting — depends on the order events occurred in, getting dates and times correct relative to one another is critical. An event logged out of sequence doesn't just misrepresent that one entry; it can throw off everything calculated from it going forward. Whenever you're entering or backdating data, take a moment to confirm the date (and time, where relevant) accurately reflects when the activity actually happened.
Common Error Codes
Date/Time Error
The error code will say Fail to Save, include a time stamp, and say event is is before the creation date. This means the desired action is set to violate one of the date restrictions we have in place. While there are a number of restrictions in place, the most common is an event cannot occur before the Lot's creation date and time. Double check or adjust the time if events are meant to occur on the same day.
