Case Goods

Assign SKU or Receive Bottled Inventory

Assign SKUs

If you have Case Goods enabled, any Lots that you bottle within Production will automatically show up in the Assign SKUs section of Case Goods. For Lots that were bottled in multiple formats, you will see unique line items per format.

The Assign SKU table acts as a to-do list. Once recently bottled Lots have been given a SKU Name, they will be removed from this table and will instead be located within the allocation tables of Case Goods.

Use Assign SKU Modal

To assign SKUs to bottled lots, click the Assign SKUs button. This opens the Assign SKU modal. Here, you need to input or select the following:

- SKU Name: From the dropdown, choose an existing SKU or enter a custom name.

- Btl/Cs: Bottles per Case: Specify the number of bottles per case for this SKU.

- CS/Plt: Cases per Pallet: Specify the number of cases per pallet for this SKU.

- Tax Paid: Check this box to move the entire allocation directly to Tax Paid. Note, this has a TTB implication for your 5120.17 reporting.

- Location: Choose a location from the dropdown. Locations are managed from your Settings menu.

Btl/Cs and CS/Plt: These settings can be changed from the SKU Details page after the SKU is created. These standard settings enable users to move inventory in any format (either in pallets, cases, or individual bottles) and allow Blended to automatically convert to keep an accurate inventory.

After entering the necessary details, click Save to finalize the SKU assignment. Click Cancel if you wish to discard changes.

Receiving Bottled Lots in Bond or Adding New Allocations to an existing SKU

If you've received bottled inventory in bond or would like add bottled inventory without producing and bottling the Lot within Blended, use the Create button from within Case Goods.

  • Create SKU will enable you to receive bottled inventory and create a new SKU

  • Add Allocation will enable you to receive bottled inventory and add it to an existing SKU

A modal will appear, allowing you to designate the SKU Name, Tax Class, Bottle Size and Specifications, and Tax Status. Clicking Save will generate the new SKU or Allocation.

Archive Unwanted Lots

To archive bottled lots that do not require SKU assignment, navigate directly to the SKU Allocations In Bond table. Select the specific lot you wish to archive, then click the Archive Selected button. This action will move the selected lot to the archive without creating a SKU.
