Initiating a Transfer
Selecting Transfer Operation
To start a transfer operation in Blended, follow these steps:
First, ensure you have selected a lot in the Production section. This will activate the operation dropdown menu.
Next, click on the operations dropdown menu in the Processing tab. You will see a list of winemaking operations available for the selected lot.
From the dropdown menu, select the Transfer option. This will open the transfer operation details popup.

Input Transfer Details
To input transfer details in Blended, start by entering the relevant information in the provided fields.
First, select the date for the transfer. This allows you to track when the transfer was scheduled and executed.
Next, enter the quantity of the lot that you wish to transfer. This ensures accurate records and helps in tracking inventory levels.
Then, choose the destination vessel for the transfer. This is where the lot will be moved to. You can select from a list of available vessels that are suitable for the transfer.
Blended also provides options for selecting barrels and empty vessels specifically. To choose barrels, look for the option to select from a list of available barrels. For empty vessels, there is an option to filter and show only those vessels which are not currently in use.
Select the date – Allows you to track the scheduling and execution of the transfer.
Enter the quantity – Ensures accurate record-keeping and inventory tracking.
Choose the destination vessel – Determines where the lot will be transferred.
Select barrels – Allows you to choose from available barrels.
Show only empty vessels – Filters the list to display vessels that are not in use.

After inputting the transfer details in Blended, you need to review and confirm the information before recording the transfer operation.
First, ensure that the lot number, volume, and vessel details are correct. It's important to verify that all information matches your expectations and records.
Next, check the transfer date, quantity to be transferred, and the destination vessel or barrels. Confirm that the selected destination is appropriate for the transfer.
If there are any notes or specific instructions related to the transfer, add them using the Add note button.
Once all details are verified, click the Record button to finalize the transfer operation. Make sure you review everything carefully as changes might not be possible after recording.
