Overview

Learn how to generate TTB 5120.17 compliance reports in Blended, including report controls and reporting options.

For compliance reports to be accurate, it is important to remember to designate tax classes on relevant production Lots and any TTB relevant materials.

Generating TTB Compliance Reports

  1. Click the orange Create button at the top right.

  2. Select 'Create a new report'.

  3. Set the date range using the filters underneath the name.

  4. Choose the form type from the dropdown menu.

Dynamic Report Display

The TTB report display in Blended is dynamic, allowing you to interact with various columns and entries.

All columns for a specific entry, except for totals, are clickable. By hovering over and clicking on a number in the column, you can view the detailed data that contributes to that number.

If you exclude specific items from the TTB report, they will be organized by category with tabs for Lots, Lot Sources, Non-grape fermentables, and Spirits. Excluded items appear as pills at the bottom with X buttons. You can click these pills to reinclude the items in the report.

Hover over and click on specific entries within the columns to see detailed information. Excluded items are organized by category at the bottom.

Exclude Lots and Materials from Specific Reports

There are controls within each report to exclude specific items from that report. This was designed to give wineries flexibility and make it easier to remove mistakes such as duplicate entries from reports. To exclude items from the report:

  1. Choose the type of item, either Lot, Lot Source, Non-Grape Fermentable or Spirit

  2. Select the item by checking the box to the left of its name

  3. Use the Exclude Selected button at the top of the table

Excluded items will be displayed at the bottom of the control table. Use the x next to their name to include them in the report.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • To track spirits in Blended, click the product name to access details. In the first box, click edit, choose the tax class from the dropdown, input the proof of the spirits, and track the volume on site.

  • Report filters in Blended let you select the date range, quarter, year, and form type. You use these filters to specify the reporting period and details.

  • To reinclude excluded items in a report, look for the pills with x buttons at the bottom, organized by category. Click on the pill to reinclude the item.

  • A report summary in Blended provides a detailed overview of your compliance report. It includes sections for wines, spirits, and materials, showing various metrics and data.
