Work Orders

Work Order Concepts

Overview

This guide outlines the key concepts and mechanics used within Blended's Work Order system.

Work Order Controls

Work orders in Blended have various controls that are accessible to administrators. These controls allow for efficient management and oversight of work orders within the system.

  • Work orders can be assigned to one or multiple users.

  • Administrators can require a review of completed work orders, enabling them to double-check the data before it becomes official in the Blended system.

  • Work orders can be assigned to one or more lots. Note that when assigning work orders to multiple lots, each step within that work order will apply to all the lots included.

These controls ensure that tasks are assigned accurately and reviewed thoroughly, maintaining data integrity across the winemaking process.

Work Order Sections

Within the Work Orders section, you have several tabs for organizing and managing your tasks. Initially, you will always be taken to the Calendar tab.

Calendar

The Calendar tab lets you see which work orders are scheduled over a given period. You can change the view from Agenda, Today, Week, or a longer timeframe. This gives you an overview of scheduled work orders and the team's agenda.

Templates

The Templates tab allows you to manage various templates. Templates help you quickly build work orders using repeatable steps or multiple steps.

All

The All tab displays all work orders, whether scheduled or in progress. You can see who is assigned to each work order, when they are scheduled, and track the team's progress.

Archive

Completed work orders move to the Archive section. This allows you to access them without cluttering your daily workspace.
