Bottling Operations

Lot Selection

To start bottling, you need to select a lot. Use the checkbox next to the desired lot to select it. Remember, bottling operations can only be performed on a single lot basis.

Select Bottling Operation

Select Bottling from the Operations drop-down after selecting the single lot where you want to perform a bottling.

Specify Size, Format, and Quantity

After clicking Bottling from the Operations drop-down menu, you will see a Bottling modal appear.

Finished Inventory is the actual number of bottles produced for sale during Bottling. If you have the Case Goods section of Blended, this amount will automatically populate to be assigned a SKU. In the Finished Inventory section, specify the size, format, and quantity of the bottles. You can use the plus button to add multiple formats.

Create Your Own Format

Start typing within the Bottle field to create your own format such as cans or kegs. This format will be saved in your Blended account for future use.

Blended enables you to bottle portions of existing Lots. To bottle a portion, ensure that the checkmark in the Finished Inventory section is unchecked. This will subtract the volume bottled from the Lot and keep the Lot active.

Avoid Recording Incorrect Losses

If you are doing a partial bottling, make sure to uncheck the 'Record loss' checkbox to avoid marking it as a loss.

Materials Used

If you are tracking Packaging materials within Blended, Materials Used section is where you indicate the packaging materials during bottling. Fill in the fields for category, name, batch, and quantity. Ensure all required fields are completed to avoid errors.

Materials Used Don't Have to Match Finished Inventory

Materials Used refers to the amount of packaging materials that Blended should deduct from inventory. This number is typically greater than what's recorded in the Finished Inventory due to losses during bottling.
