All actions, measurements, and operations occur to the volume within the Lot. We treat that volume as homogenous. If you treat portions of a Lot differently, we typically recommend Splitting the Lot into multiple parts.
Using the Operational Dropdown
Lot Selection Process
To select a lot in the Production section, locate the list of processing lots and click on the lot name you want to manage. In the below example, we select the lot named '2023-AR-PN667'.
When a lot is selected, the Operation dropdown becomes active.
The Operation dropdown contains various winemaking options, such as Cold soak, Crush, Destem, Pump over, Punch down, Sort, Split lot, Press, Saignée, Blend/Combine, Loss/Adjustment, and Note. Selecting an operation from this list allows you to apply it to the chosen lot, ensuring precise tracking and management of production processes.
