Removing Bulk Juice or Wine From the Premise
Overview
Archive bulk juice or wine in Blended to efficiently manage inventory and maintain precise records. This vital process ensures accuracy by allowing you to remove bulk items that are no longer actively tracked in the Production section.
Archiving a Lot will archive the entire Lot. If you are only archiving a portion, for example, you transferred out a portion of an existing Lot in Bond, then split the Lot first to isolate the volume you intend to archive.
Initiate Archiving Process
Select Lot for Archiving
Navigate to the Production section in Blended. Locate the lot you wish to archive in the table. Ensure you have selected the correct lot before proceeding.
Access Archive Options
Use the Other dropdown in the table menu bar to find the Archive Lot option. Select Archive Lot to open the archiving modal. In the modal, set the Effective Date, choose a Reason, and add any Notes. Confirm by clicking Archive.
Configure Archiving Details
Set Effective Date
In the archiving modal, use the Effective Date field to select the date the archive should take effect. Ensure the date reflects the actual date of removal from inventory.
Choose Reason Code
Next, select the appropriate reason code from the Reason dropdown in the archiving modal. This step is key to maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Reason dropdown provides several options to categorize why a lot is being archived. Choose the option that best describes the situation.

Choosing the appropriate reason code is key to accurate inventory records and compliance. Ensure you select the reason that best describes your situation when archiving a lot.
Follow the archiving steps and choose the option "Transfer In Bond."
Finalize Archiving
Confirm Archive Action
After configuring the details, click the Archive button to finalize the process. This action removes the lot from active tracking.
Review Archive Status
To confirm that a lot has been archived, navigate to the Production section. The lot should no longer appear in the active inventory list.
