Batch Management

Create Batch

To create a new batch in Blended, follow these steps:

First, navigate to the Materials section. Find and check the product name from the materials table. This step is important to ensure you are adding the batch to the correct product.

Once you have selected the correct product, click on Add Batch. A dialog box will appear with the title of the product, for example, 'Tartaric Acid: Add Batch.'

In the dialog box, you will need to input the following details:

  • Batch name or code: Enter a unique identifier for the batch.

  • Received date: Select the date the batch was received using the date picker.

  • Expiration date: Select the expiration date using the date picker.

  • Available quantity: Enter the quantity available and select the unit of measurement from the dropdown menu.

Ensure all fields are filled out correctly. If you miss any required fields, an error message will appear indicating what needs to be corrected.

After completing the form, click Save to add the new batch. If you need to cancel, click Cancel to exit the dialog without saving.

Double-Check Product Names

Ensure accuracy by double-checking product names in the materials table before proceeding. This helps prevent errors in batch creation.
