Ensure you set the type to either Grapes, Bulk Juice, or Bulk Wine, depending on what you are receiving.
If you are receiving grapes, and the sourcing vineyard/block is recorded in Blended, you can select it from the Block drop-down menu.
You can also create a new block from the drop-down itself by clicking on the dropdown and typing.
Use the Block dropdown to link grapes to their Vineyard and Block
Selecting the corresponding Vineyard and Block within your Lot Source, Blended ensures more accurate tracking and compositional analysis during the winemaking process.
Enter the date when you received the materials. For grapes, this date is also known as the pick date. Expand the Container/location info section to input optional information about the intake material, such as vehicle or trailer ID, tare code, and bin descriptions. While this information is optional, providing it helps you track more detailed data about your wine.
Use the custom tags feature to create and apply any tags you need. Start typing in the first input box to create a new tag. Examples of tags include customer names, invoice numbers, or more detailed descriptions, such as whether the grapes were machine or handpicked.
Record the weights in the Weights section. Enter the bin numbers if you track them. Fill in the gross weight, which is the total weight of the material and container, and the tare weight, which is the weight of the empty container. The system will calculate the net weight automatically.
If you have additional containers, use the + icon to add them to the weight ticket. Once you have entered all the necessary information, click the Create button at the bottom right to finalize and create the weight ticket.
Record Weights Accurately
Ensure you record the weights of grapes, juice, and bulk wine accurately. This enhances your data accuracy throughout the winemaking process.

Editing Weight Ticket Weights
