Navigating the Work Orders Section
The Work Order section is designed to support the writing, organization, and management of work orders. The tabs within the section that you see are dependent upon your permissions. Individual users will be limited to the Work Orders assigned to them, while Production Admin will have a holistic view of all Work Orders in process.
Work Order Statuses
Work orders move through a series of statuses as they progress. The available statuses are:
Template: Saved, reusable work order that can be used to start a new work order or added to a draft in progress.
Draft: Work orders in draft status are being created. Drafts are saved automatically and can be revisited for completion.
Scheduled: Finished drafts that have been scheduled for execution. Scheduled work orders appear on the calendar and are ready to be started on their assigned date.
In Progress: Work orders that have been started and are actively being worked on. Steps can be completed and recorded as the work is carried out.
In Review: Work orders that have been submitted for administrative review. These remain pending until they are either reviewed or sent back for revision.
Complete: Work orders that have been finished and approved. All steps are closed, and no further edits can be made.
Canceled: Canceled work orders remain in the system for reference, but are not active.
Work Order Tabs
Within the Work Orders section, you have several tabs for organizing and managing your tasks. Initially, you will always be taken to the Calendar tab.
Calendar
The Calendar tab lets you see which work orders are scheduled over a given period. You can change the view from Agenda, Today, Week, or a longer timeframe. This gives you an overview of scheduled work orders and the team's agenda.
Templates
The Templates tab allows you to manage various templates. Templates help you quickly build work orders using repeatable steps or multiple steps.
All
The All tab displays all work orders, whether draft, scheduled, or in progress. You can see who is assigned to each work order, when they are scheduled, and track the team's progress.
This tab has a set of controls:
Print: Use the checkboxes to select which work orders to print and then use the Print button in the table header.
Assign: Use the checkbox to select a work order and then the Assign dropdown to select a user to assign it to.
Set Status: Use the checkbox to select a work order and then the Set Status dropdown to change the status of a work order.
Due: Use this field to filter by due date.
Archive
Completed work orders move to the Archive section. This allows you to access them without cluttering your daily workspace.
